Immunisation

Immunisation protects against a range of preventable diseases and infections. Childhood immunisations, catch up immunisations, travel immunisations and occupational health immunisations are amongst the range of immunisations provided Coastal Health Medical Centre.

We offer up-to-date advice on immunisations and vaccinations, and are here to help protect you, your family and business from flu and other diseases.

Patients eligible for free government vaccines will be bulk billed. Patients who are not eligible will be bulk billed for the doctor’s visit and a private charge for the vaccine will be payable on the day.

Travel Vaccinations

If you are travelling overseas it’s important to have the right vaccinations and health advice before you travel.
Exposure to infectious diseases, some of which are vaccine preventable, is one of the many health hazards of international travel. If you are travelling overseas, book an appointment with your doctor to check the latest requirements for vaccinations.

Flu Shot

Getting a Flu Shot early in the year and before the height of flu season, can result in a drastically reduced risk of becoming infected and spreading the virus to others.
